Our
codec is a distributed as a shareware, the only official installer of
our codec is on our web site : http://www.morgan-multimedia.com/
, it is not "spam" or "spyware" ... We are victims
of spam too, our mailboxes are full of it, so we won't use such stupid
sales and marketing technics.
We are aware of several "codec packs"
which ILLEGALY include our codec, it's pure hacking, "authors"
of these codec packs have never contacted us for authorization or
technical advices on how to correctly install our product, they just do
their own installer as they imagine it will work, but it doesn't,
moreover they also tried to "crack" our products but it does
not always work. Please understand that we have no responsability in
such kind of distribution of our codec ... It's a REAL PROBLEM for us
because it produces a HUGE number of incorrect installation and unhappy
users. Cracks (when they work) are a significant lost of potential sales
for us. The technical support is also HUGE because users contact us and not the "author" (I must say the hacker) of
such a codec pack.
Please note that our OFFICIAL installer conforms
to Windows installation/deinstallattion specifications. If you install
our codec (from our web site) and unsinstall it, your system will be
just as before its installation.
If you want to remove our codec from
your system you can :
- Download and install our MJPEG codec
from: http://www.morgan-multimedia.com/download/m3jpegv3.exe
and then unsinstall it.
or
- If 1. does not work, search for
files M3JPEG32.dll, M3JPEGdecVFW.ax, M3JPEGencVFW.ax
and MMIJG32.dll on your hard disk and delete them.
Several
"codec packs" include another one of our products which is
freeware and called "Morgan Stream Switcher". You might
encounter problems using codec pack's version of "Morgan Stream
Switcher" with Windows Media Player 9 or 10.
If you want to remove Morgan Stream
Switcher from your system you can :
- Download and install official
version from: http://www.morgan-multimedia.com/download/mmswitch.exe
and then unsinstall it.
or
- If 1. does not work, search for
files MMSwitch.dll and MMSwitch.ax on your hard disk
and delete them.
